cant install gammax300r on lga 1155

hello.i recently bought a gammax300r to put on my i7-2600 cpu.the problem is that i have a generic lenovo motherboard (lga1155)socket and it seems that the holes that i am trying to secure the pins is a little bigger.i am putting the plastic pins in the holes,i press the pins,i hear the click,but the fan wont stay.is there any fix?i have taken also my pc to 2 technicians and they also failed to install the fan.hope to reply because i dont know what else to do.

Seems only thing you can do is return the cooler and see if one with a backplate wil work.
