Can't install Nvidia GTX 650 drivers

Hi all, I've recently purchased a Geforce GTX650 2gb from a friend and the drivers refuse to install, I've tried every version on the Nvidia website and PNY's website. I know it isn't an issue with the card itself as I can see what I'm typing now while my monitor is connected to the card. Any help?

I don't get an error message, it just states that the graphics driver failed and that everything else wasn't installed. Sorry for the late reply, but I haven't had much time to be on the computer

No, all it gives me is the name of the things that weren't installed/failed and the option to close the installer

sorry, i mis-clicked this as the best answer. I went into the WIndows installer and it (failed of course) gave me code: 80070005

OK, the solution for me was to use a software called DDU in safe mode, delete all drivers. Then relaunch in safe mode and try to do the driver install then. Thanks for all the help plast0000
