I messed up settings in Windows 8.1 that didn't let me log in. "User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded " Finding that I couldn't fix it, I decided to reinstall. While trying to reinstall, I wiped the hard drive of everything. Now I have an 840 EVO SSD with no OS. Booting the computer prompts a black screen with a message that says "An Operating System wasn't found etc etc" I need help and tips on getting it back to normal, as of now, I'm making a windows 7 bootable drive. If it doesn't work, I'm out of ideas. Help me please!

These are official ISOs from Microsoft. You can download the ISO file and make a bootable usb. The easiest way to do that, in my opinion, is to use 'windows 7 usb/dvd download tool'. Here is the link: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool. Though it says 'windows 7', you can also make a bootable usb windows 8 with it.
you can simply download windows 7 or 8 as an ISO legally on the microsoft website. You will need to burn that ISO on a dvd and boot from it.

Once you boot on that DVD youw ill be able to reinstall windows.

If you have a out of the box computer like dell or hp you should be able to boot from the recovery partition and boot from there.

I don't have an optical drive, hence the use of a USB. The SSD is basically empty, no partitions and etc.

Do you have a link to that ISO?

I understand, you will need to create a USB bootable device. There are a few ways to do that, just google it and find the best option for you. There are also a few good youtuve videos on that too.

The USB stick will act as your DVD.
