Hey so, I have been trying to install the VisionTek Radeon HD 5450 2GB, and my computer wont display anything on boot. From my experience, I can hear it going through BIOS, etc. but I cant see anything! I already went to safe mode and disabled the iGPU, but even if i plug in my VGA or HDMI cable into my iGPU, it wont work. Please give any help!
PS, and it is plugged in right!

Here are my specs

  • Computer/Motherboard: Acer TC 605-UR51
    CPU: Intel Core i5 4460
    Hard Drives: 1 7200rpm 2.5in HDD 500GB and 1 5400rpm 3.5in HDD 2TB
    RAM: 8GB DDR3 SDRAM
    Motherboard Model: MS-7869 Version 1.0

UPDATE: I was able to remove my GPU and get back my iGPU, but i still want to fix this problem!

I see it now. Does that GPU need an extra power plug ?
You also said: "I already went to safe mode and disabled the iGPU" does that mean safe mode in windows ?
If it does, that doesn't help, maybe you have to disable it in BIOS instead or to set PCIe as default instead of IGPU.

1st Answer: No, it only needs 285 watts of power
2nd: Yes, I have Windows 10.
Also, I tried, I looked at the Integrated Peripherals, and it won't show.
