Can't install Visual C++ 2013

I select my external hard drive to install it on because it says that it requires 11 GB of space, and then press next, on the next page there is a button that says install, but when I press it nothing happens. I have tried to download it from visualstudio.com three or four times and each time this happens.

Download page clearly states "50 MB of available hard disk space": http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=40784

It must be installed on the same drive where Windows is installed.
