cant install visual c++ 2015

Hello everyone i cant install c++ 2015 i need help bad. Most of the package installs but the dll api-ms-win-crt-runtime or something along the lines of that is missing i have installed the dll from dll-files.com but to no avail. I am using a windows 8.1 hp probook, intel i5-5200u, 4gb of ddr3l ram and here is the log file. Any help is much appreciated. https://mega.nz/#fm/mN0mlBAC

Do NOT download DLLs from random sites. Immediately delete those files and run AV software just in case.

Get the package installer from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/search.aspx?q=redistributable+package+2015 , making sure to get the one for 2015 and for 2015 sp1.

If that still gives you issues, you can just download Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition and then uninstall it. The packages you need will be installed and are not deleted during uninstall.

well the dll site i went to was trusted and no viruses were found it took about 35 dll files before it started to function properly idk why it wouldnt install all the files but in the end i fixed it thanks for the help

It doesn't matter if you had the files passed AV checks, the files are not supposed to be transferred like that.

Your issue could have been solved in 2 min by going to the site I linked and downloading the PROPER installer
