So I bought this computer not to long ago at a Canada computers and also bought a copy of windows 10 there. Bts when you open the box of the copy of windows 10 you can't return it. So I get back home and when I open it and the copy comes in a disk while my computer only has USB ports. Would I be able to switch the data from the disk onto a USB stick via another computer I already have with a DVD port???

Thanks

Tom's is a site that gives advice, vapour, and if we can't give it, we let someoen else do it rather than link to dubious advice from another site.

The OP could use his disk if he bought a USB external optical drive but he asked if he could transfer the data to a stick and the answer to that is yes, a simple copy and paste, if he uses Rufus to make it bootable.

Wrong link and corrected above. After you get the ISO burned onto flash drive, boot using USB, some bios is using F9 to choose which drive/media to boot, not sure about yours. You can always enter BIOS and pick USB as the first boot priority, you can change the order after installation :) Let me know if there is any confusion.
