Can't install Windows 10 from USB drive

Hello all,

I downloaded Windows and copied it on one of my USB drives, but when I try to boot it for the installation, the USB drive shows up as if empty.

Is it possible that this happens because my USB drive isn't fat32? I modified it for bigger files.

When you installed windows 10 on the drive did it format the drive? It says on the windows website it needs to be fat32.

What exactly did you copy?
If you have windows 10 iso file, you have to use program like rufus to to put it onto USB flash drive.

You can't just copy the windows 10 iso file itself or it's contents copy-paste to the USB installation pendrive and call it a day !, there is quite a protocol not very complicated though to get a working windows 10 installation usb stick, a lot of small software tools would do the trick,I found Rufus to be pretty practical ( version 2.18 here >> https://rufus.akeo.ie/ )
