I tried everything - switching ports, bloating the USB with all the drivers of all versions I could find, running in UEFI mode (What does that even mean, it shows my USB name twice, once with UEFI:XXXX and just XXXX, but that's not important) and almost every other online trick I could find. But in the end windows tells me that I need to insert a disk with some media drivers (doesn't specify of course).

I know that the USB isn't corrupted because I installed Fedora and Ubuntu from it after it first failed, both installations finished without a hitch.

I switched the .ISOs around, even trying a few from questionable sources (hey, i have a key anyway, so it's not piracy in any case right?). But all of them had the exact same problem.

Does anyone know any other tricks? At this point I'm stuck with my old Windows 7, and I don't like it at all. Please, I know that most of you hate Windows 10 for various reasons, but that doesn't matter right now.

Full(ish) specs:
CPU: i5-6400 (completely stock, nothing was changed on this)
GPU: HD 530 iGPU
RAM: Crucial 8GB 2133MHz (don't know the exact model, the PC is pre-built)
HDD: Seagate HDD ST1000DM003
Motherboard: ASUS H110m-k

The PC works flawlessly in Win7 and all Linux distros I tried, the CPU isn't overheating or anything (hell, it's below 40C even at full load).

I don't know what to try at this point, I can work with Windows 7, but I have to know if anything is just broken here to go and swap the PC out back at the store (they replace the whole PC if problems appear within the first month), but I really think that this is a software issue.

Edit: I completely forgot, Windows 7 didn't want to install either, I updated the BIOS and it installed with the driver DVD inside.

Even if you're not sure about your solution, please don't hold back, I'll try everything that doesn't include voiding my warranty.

UEFI: XXXX is the mode you to have USB as,
do you have fast boot turned on? it may skip all the USB devices except the keyboard and mouse at start up (have a look in your manual) if you do.
which USB slots are you using? it shouldn't matter as Win 10 should recognise USB 3 drives, but using USB 2 might make it easier.

The problem can be caused by a bad ISO, you should download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make the USB.

Did you reset bios before trying? have you got latest bios?

If you bought from store, why didn't you ask them to install win 10?

I formatted the USB through Diskpart and manually inserted the files, and I did try using the disk, in fact, that's the only way to install Windows 7 for me at the moment.

Use the Media Creation Tool from the link provided above to create a window 10 installation media on an usb.

I am sure that Fast Boot is turned on right now, I didn't even think about that, I'll go and try again then.

And about everything else, I tried all of that, I was only able to install Windows 7 after the BIOS update. And I updated through the BIOS Internet option, so it's definitely the latest version. The store's service doesn't include installing any OS except for FreeDOS.

I'll be back with an update if this works.

Edit: Turning Fast Boot off didn't change anything.

That's what I did on the very first try, and that's how I installed Windows 7 later, but right now that doesn't work either.
