Can't Install Windows 7 on a brand new hp laptop

Hi, everyone.
I recently bought a HP 250 G4 laptop with FreeDos preinstalled on it. I tried installing Windows 7 from both a bootable USB and DVD with no success. Every time installation stops at "missing drivers error". I tried switching ports, changed BIOS boot sequence,(advanced options in BIOS are locked), formatted drive to NTFS, used legit ISOs from Microsoft website, tried to install drivers from another USB but I just can't seem to get it working.
It's been 3 days already and I'm about to rip my hair out!

If anybody can help me it would be most welcome.

Here are the specs for the laptop:
HP 250 G4 Notebook PC
Processor Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N3050 @ 1.60GHz
4GB RAM

HP has lots of drivers for you.

You may also need to install 7 in UEFI Mode if the bios doesn't have a setting to change it.

You didn't say exactly what process you used to attempt installation. If you booted from something using USB 3, that's your problem since the Windows 7 install software has no USB 3 drivers. So you need to use either USB 2 or a built in CD/DVD drive.

A lot of newer laptops only have USB 3.0. You need this to help you out if that is the case when trying to install from USB.

at what point does it say "missing drivers?" does the windows installer see the hard drive?

I used both USB 2.0 and 3.0, tried installing from CD and DVD, but right after I click "Install now", the message/error appears and says "CD/DVD drivers are missing". I thought it was missing motherboard drivers for the USB ports but when I plug the other USB with the drivers it doesn't even appear and can't access them to install neither the drivers or the OS.

Download the sata drivers from hp and load them when it says so during setup.

Sorry, the only time I have ever seen CD/DVD Drivers are missing is when I have tried to install from USB 3.0
Once I switched to USB 2.0 it was fine.

In the case you may have only USB 3.0 try the software from Intel that I linked in earlier post.
If you are getting this error when trying to install from the Disk using the laptops CD drive, are you using a Microsoft ISO or an HP OEM Windows 7 Disk?
