I have an HP Elitebook 840G3. The hard drive was completely wiped. I have tried to install Windows 7 and I keep getting the error "Load Driver - a required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, USB, DVD or USB flash drive, please insert it now." This laptop doesn't even have a CD/DVD player in it, and I don't know what drivers it's looking for.

Actually, after some snooping around I found this website

https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Support/Utility?kw=windows+usb+installation&p=1

and selected the USB Installation Tool for AMD series motherboards. It downloaded a ZIP file and after I extracted it, ran a program called Windows Installation Tool and I added the USB files to my USB drive that has Windows 7 on it. I re-tried the installation and as of this writing it's running like it's supposed to. So we'll see how things turn out.
