Can't install windows 7 on my new machine

Just got my new gaming PC through with no operating system installed, tried installing windows 7 and 8 via usb as I'm not using a disk drive. The usb boots up fine and asks me to choose language, time etc then it just freezes at "setup is starting" I know that the iso files are fine as I'm currently using windows 8 on my laptop which installed fine.

PC specs if relevant:

AMD FX 8320
Corsair Vengeance 8GB PC3-12800 1600MHz (2 x 4gig sticks)
AMD Radeon R9 290 Gigabyte Windforce 3x OC
Corsair CS750M
ASUS M5A97 R2 motherboard

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm guessing it's a motherboard issue but unsure as to what is causing the problem.

Some time it will take long time and its looks like it stuck in "Setup is starting". If it really stuck try by remove all hardware other then HDD, RAM and USB. If Floppy Drive is enabled in BIOS, disable it and restart the windows installation.

I left it for around an hour or so and still nothing and I couldn't turn my machine off via the button which made me thin that it had frozen. I couldn't find any floppy drive settings in the bios either.
