Hi. I am trying to install windows 7 to my stationary computer via USB, but when it gets to "expanding files" it reaches about 6% before it tells me that some files may be corrupted and ends the installation. What can i do to fix this?

I got 1 ssd and 1 hdd. tried to install on both. -failed

Tried the RAM trick - failed

Tried AHCI/RAID/IDE - failed

tried 2 different Windows 7 (both tested working on my laptop) - failed

Tried unplugging all but the SATA to the hard drive I am installing windows to - failed

I am getting pretty dismayed by this. I would apreciate the help.

EDIT: Both the Hard disks are completly clean and formated.

Specs:
Gigabyte 780 ti GHz
Intel Core I7 4770k
Corsair Dominator Platinum 2x8 GB 1866MHz

Well...that is a whole different situation.
You need a license key. The ISO from thee above link will install and work for 30 days. After that, it will demand a license key.

Alternatives if you do not want to buy a Windows license?
Linux.
