cant install windows 7

I bought HP 15 r014tx windows 8.1 pre installed . I have tried many times to install windows 7 but after entering DVD of windows 7 and enter into bios it does not boot and goes into startup menu..

Are you sure the DVD is a bootable DVD of Windows 7? Are you sure you have the DVD/CD drive as a bootable device before the HDD?

Go into your BIOS settings (f10 on HP), go to security, disable secure boot, change boot mode to legacy or csm, and try booting to the disk again.

Search on Google how to enter boot menu on your motherboard, usually it's F12 or F11, and restart your PC, then spam few times ( 2,3 times ) that button, and when it opens you menu, select Boot from CD/DVD, and Windows 7 setup should start!
