Can't Install Windows on HDD

Okay so I posted yesterday about which partition to install windows on etc.
So I tried all the solutions to no avail.

The cmd way of cleaning the HDD didn't work(didn't even show her drives, instead gave an error. Tried to format the drive the normal way on the advanced screen and that gave the error "The chosen partition couldn't be formatted".

The partition “0“ couldnt be formatted. Error accured while setting up the chosen partition for installation. Error code: 0x80070057
^ that was the translation from german which it said.

Tried to run a CHKDSK to see if it could diagnose any errors on the drive and fix any issues. That also didn't work as it said the "drive is closed"

What do you guys think? HDD faulty/corrupt?

Does this happen when you boot from CD/ USB and try to format?

well I say my drives. Her drives on her computer. I don't have the Screenshots but when she tried the command to show the drives it didn't show any. It said this command was invalid. Also tried the "list volume" command and that didn't work on her HDD either. I tried it on my pc and it worked perfectly fine

Those commands work only inside of diskpart environment.

yes I know, I had her open cmd with shift + f10 and then typed in "diskpart", that took to the next part...and when she typed in the next options. list volume etc, all commands were invalid. Tried all your recommendations and also looked online if there was any more. Nothing was showing

Wild guess here - were those commands executed in german?
Because that's the only way they could be invalid.

she just tried to start the pc up and got Unmountable_Boot_Volume or you can say STOP: 0x000000ED, (blue screen of death) .

  select disk 0
  list partition

She only has the two connectors on the left plugged in. Not the one with the pins on the right. That is fine?
