Can't install Windows Server 2012 to PowerEdge R710

Hi,

I have purchase a Dell PowerEdge R710 server which I am trying to install Windows Server 2012 but it doesn't seem to be recognising my SAS 15K Cheetah Hard drive. It keeps telling me I don't have the necessary drivers for it. I have tried to update the drivers and firmware via the Lifecycle controller but it find the updates. How do I get the system to recognise my hard drive so that I can install this OS?

I have tried to setup the RAID but it doesn't allow to complete it as it cannot detect the hard drive. The dell site reports that I have a PERC 6/i RAID controller.

If the RAID controller configuration program can't see the drive then the drive is bad or is not connected properly. This runs at the BIOS stage so is independent of whatever OS you are trying to install.

Thanks, the system is now detecting the hard drive and allowing me to create a RAID array but still can't select Windows 2012 using OS deploy from Lifecycle controller. I think I need to run a platform update but it always fails. I have created an the necessary SUU files via the Dell Repository manager. What were you suggest next?
