The only drive that should be connected is the one your installing Windows onto.damn, guess it's time to procrastinate. does the sata ssd need unpluged also? that's the biggest problem.

Hate to say it but your probably going to need to unplug those HDD's until Windows is installed.Something along the lines of "windows could not create or find a partition. restart the installation"
yes, there are 3 HDDs and 1 SSD. all would be quite a pain to unplug if that was needed.

Nothing else I can think of. If it still gives a error and format/delete the drive and then hit New partition and then you should be able to install Windows then.alright, is there anything else i need to do in bios or anything

could audio drivers cause issues like that? I use nvidias but the "suggested" is realtek and ive just always assumed it was normal sponsor like winrar and nortonTry updating your motherboard drivers.
