Can't Install Windows Updates

i have try to install updates in my windows but it shows"Windows Update cannot currently check for updates,because the service is not running. plz help me to get out of it

Press the windows key+run type services.msc. Go to windows update. Dbl click on it change it to manual (trigger start) then start it

Also make sure BITS service / Background Intelligent Transfer Service has started. On Automatic (delayed start)

If either bring up an error, tell us what it says
