Can't load BIOS on Gigabye motherboard

Hi. My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-MA770.
Whenever I try to go into the BIOS it just gets stuck, sometimes the screen is completely black, and sometimes there's a small white line in the top of the screen.

Could flushing a new BIOS firmware help?
BTW, everything else is working fine, windows loads etc.

Hi

flashing a bios while there is a problem may make things worse if it fails

If you have a dual bios starting from alternative bios will show if first one is corrupt
seems some Gigabyte GA-MA770 xxx models have a dual bios

if one bios good & other bad you can copy good bios to bad bios chip

What make & model Graphics card?
what sort of video cable goes to your screen or TV?
in case BIOS not outputting a compatible video signal until Windows loads
(VGA/DVI/HDMI/Display Port)

1. I googled my motherboard and it does have dual bios, but from what I read this features is supposed to kick in automatically when there's a problem. How do I make it start from the other bios?
2. My video card is ATI Radeon HD 4800. It's connected with a DVI cable and it used to work for years, I tried the vga output too just in case, but it's the same.

I don't have one within reach, maybe I'll try it, but it used to work with my usb keyboard, and the problem is not that it doesn't detect the pressing of the del button, it tries to go into bios but fails.
