Cant load further in half life 2

Hello,

i cant go futher than the first load in half life 2............... that load is when you fall out of the window and it says loading and then windows recovery comes up and half life2 closes.... i run it on window 7 ultimate 32 bit........plzzzzzzz help!!!!!!!! heres a pic of what happens go to this web adress: (http://www.4shared.com/photo/fDss8NFx/thisiswhat_happens.html) (without the barackets.) plz help!!!!!!!!!

thanks brett,

though i didnt buy it from steam, my cousins bought the CD and when they came to my house,brought the CD and i downloaded it on my PC... my PC is windows 7 ultimate 32 bits.. so if u have any other solution please share..
