its a WD sATA hard drive.
The prob is while I was formatting my hard drive due for some electricity problem the computer went of. and I couldn't complete the formatting process.
now after that when ever i'm trying to load win 7 os again on my I just can't seem to make it.
The Hard drive is showing on bios its starting alright and its working upto Install windows 7 screen.
after that its stops on "WINDOWS set up is starting" screen. I've tried 3-4 times but it just stuck in there..

My pc configuration -

Processor - Core 2 Duo E7500 @2.93 GHz
SMPS - iBall LPS223-400 ATX
Ram - 3 gb (2+1) DDR2

Solution
Hi there ishan_1996,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. :(

You can try cleaning the drive before installation. At first installer screen enter System Recovery Options to open a Command Box, type:

DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 0 (after confirming Windows 7 target HD #)
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="WINDOWS 7"
ACTIVE
EXIT
EXIT

You can check this out as well: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/217073
After the installation, it will not hurt to test the drive with WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=UyLp9Y

Hope this will help,
