Hi,

I found an old Aztech DSL5018EN(1T1R) Router/Modem thrown away by our company and i brought it home.

I set it up,since it doesn't have a WAN port(only Telephone Port using RJ11),
I plugged my LAN Cable from ISP Router to LAN 1 of Aztech Router/Modem,
plugged LAN Cable from LAN 2 of Aztech Router/Modem going to my laptop, powered the device and it's still working,
I can connect to the internet without problem.

Since Wifi on the Aztech Router/Modem is disabled,i want to login on its Admin Login Page for me to enable Wifi and
use the device to extend my wifi range at home but can't locate the Admin Login Address.

Things I have done:

I have tried all default Admin login address provided by Aztech website but to no avail.

I tried pressing the "Reset" button at the bottom of the device (10 seconds,15 seconds and even a minute),
but it's not working,it doesn't do a Factory Reset.

I checked the default gateway,it was my ISP Router's address which is 192.168.1.1

I tried to input 192.168.1.1 into the browser but the ISP Router's Admin Login pops up,
not the Aztech's Admin Login, maybe the Aztech Router/Modem was set up as "Bridge"?

In the ISP Router's Admin panel, I can see the IP Address/MAC Address of the Laptop connected to the Aztech Router/Modem.

I tried "arp -a" in CMD and this is the result: (see Remarks for device identification)

Internet Address Physical Address Type Remarks
192.168.1.1 e0-67-b3-74-db-78 dynamic (ISP Router)
192.168.1.2 00-1f-fb-99-03-61 dynamic (Phone)
192.168.1.77 e8-03-9a-9e-10-d0 dynamic (Laptop connected to Aztech Router)
192.168.1.135 b8-27-eb-d5-b7-d5 dynamic (Raspberry Pi)
192.168.1.160 7c-89-56-d2-81-a8 dynamic (Phone)
192.168.1.223 7a-b8-03-47-7d-a7 dynamic (Desktop Computer)
192.168.1.255 ff-ff-ff-ff-ff-ff static (unknown)

This 192.168.1.255, i can not determine for it doesn't show up in the
ISP Router's list of devices connected. Is this probably the Aztech Router/Modem?
I tried to input 192.168.1.255 on the laptop connected to the Aztech but error,
"can't be reached".

I dont know the devices below this area.
224.0.0.22 01-00-5e-00-00-16 static
224.0.0.251 01-00-5e-00-00-fb static
224.0.0.252 01-00-5e-00-00-fc static
239.255.102.18 01-00-5e-7f-66-12 static
239.255.255.250 01-00-5e-7f-ff-fa static
255.255.255.255 ff-ff-ff-ff-ff-ff static

Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance.

Not much you can do then. Without the admin name and password access is not possible without a factory reset.

And if a factory reset is not possible then the modem/router is likely a lost cause.

The only thing I can think of is to go online and look for the User Guide/Manual. Verify that he/you used the correct factory reset method.

For example:

https://www.192-168-1-1-ip.co/route...u need to do,restored to the factory settings.

From the link:

"All you need to do is to reset your DSL5018EN-1T1R modem. This can be done easily by clicking on the reset button at the back or at the bottom of your router. If you hold down this small button for approximately 20...
The Aztec router may simply have failed with respect to wireless functionality.

The problems you are discovering are probably why your company threw away the router.

Especially if the Admin screens are no longer accessible.

Did you talk with the applicable IT staff/managers before taking the Aztec router?

Find out why the router was thrown out.

Hi,

Our IT guy is new,he was the one who dispose the said Modem/Router.
He said it isn't broken, thing is it was setup as "Bridge" by previous IT and he also can't access the Admin page for he didn't know the Bridge Group IP. He disposed it for he had procured new and faster APs and switches.I asked him why not just reset the router, probably broken button..

Did he/you truly hold the button for 20 seconds?
