Can't log into Microsoft Windows 10 with usual password or PIN no recovery disk - no answers so far

I'm working on a friend's old Windows 10 Toshiba laptop, trying to get her password or PIN to get her into her Microsoft account. Since she doesn't have another computer to work on I'm trying to get help from Microsoft, but when I try, they ask for email addresses and subjects which she doesn't remember. She hasn't been able to use the computer for over a week. Any ideas??

Going to have to think harder. All we can recommend is contact Microsoft and keep trying possibilities or Toshiba we can't help beyond that as we can't prove ownership
