can't login to my PC

I can't login to my PC ( vista 64xbit) after typing my correct password. After typing the password, I hit ENTER , then the PC seems to be stalled, I can't move the cursor.
I have to use safe mode. This is a 6 year old PC (HP).

Bro .
some of the system file has currupted.
so u are required to put Windows installation DVD of USB.
and repair it...
