Can't login to the forum without disabling my VPN.

This started the evening of 8/8/18. I have been using the forums daily for some time with my VPN active without any problems, but now I have to disable it to login. It's not due to an update on my VPN either because there hasn't been one lately.

I do not feel safe on the net anymore without using a VPN, please correct this.

If Tom's works without the VPN then you can't tell Toms to fix it.

You need to tell your VPN provider to fix it.

The first place I would check would be DNS.

Yup, just logged in under Nord works fine, you aren't using privacy badger or something are you, that might interfere.

Nope, it's not Privacy Badger, it's a well known one and like I said, it worked fine before, and still does for most sites and all other forums.

I can now login with my VPN enabled, and nothing has changed on my end.

Scratch that, today it's back to not letting me login with my VPN enabled. Come on guys, get it back to the way it was!

Tom's also works correctly with hide.ME vpn.

Its likely the VPN you are using has one or more IP addresses that have been banned because they were associated with spam accounts. There is not much we can do here other than to tell you to have it rotate your IP to another.

Mine's dynamic, it changes to a new IP every time I get on the net. Maybe that's why I can login sometimes with it enabled. This is new though, like I said I've been using it a long time and this has never happened with it.

May have been due to a recent banning of some IPs in the range your VPN uses. Based on how the systems work here it makes the most sense.

Well the last two days I've been able to login several times with it enabled. In another thread one of the staff said they're aware of login problems and are trying to fix it. So hopefully my success the last two days are because of that instead of random luck of IP rotation.

Glad its working. There have been some issues that I didn't encounter until later on that may be related as well.

Yeah one staff recently even said they plan to eventually offer more ways to embed videos, so it looks like they'll sooner or later bring in some layout changes as well.

Really digging the tutorial option too. It's very quick and easy to edit it, and it also bumps the thread almost immediately. Since I saw no reply option I was worried it wouldn't bump, but no problems.

The hardest part of that tutorial is yet to come, and I've been having some car problems I need to fix lately, so the 2nd half of it may be a slower process. Hopefully it will go as planned.
