[SOLVED] cant make hdd my main drive

I recently built my pc but for some reason my ssd is acting as my main drive when it is only intended to hold my os does any one know how to make my hdd my main drive it isnt broken as it is shown in my bios thanks for any help if you need any details just ask thx again (;

on the hdd
Yes you can install applications on the HDD.
You do this individually, when you install something.

But, applications are generally very small.
Video/music take up much more space.
Games as well. With Steam, you can designate a folder ont he HDD to install games to.

Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder
q24sFfe.png


To move an already installed game
Games library
Right click the game
Properties
Local Files
Move Install Folder
-----------------------------------

For other things, like movies...simply save...
Hi.

Since you have your OS installed in the SSD, that automatically makes the SSD on the main drive in your rig. The HDD is now a secondary drive in your rig and you can not make it main at least that you remove the SSD and install the OS on the HDD.
