Can't modify anything in my external hard drive PLEASE HELP!!

Yesterday I think i corrupted by external hard drive by disconnecting it when I had utorrent writing files to the drive. Now I can't delete (delete button is missing), add folders, write files into the hard drive, rename files, etc. I also went into properties and tried checking for errors but it would just get stuck.

Check in the settings to see if you changed the drive to read only.

If you don't have any important data stored on the drive, you can just go to Disk Management and reformat it. Also, you can check it's health status after that: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

If you have some data over there, you can see if something like the Ubuntu Live CD approach would help. Perhaps, you will be able to access the data under Ubuntu. You will need to boot from a flash drive/CD: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/267999-32-recover-data-mode
