Question Can't Open a second instance of file explorer from the task bar!

Every time I try to right click it to open another one, it won't. I even reinstalled windows. It DOES work in safe mode but does not work in normal. Seems liek it always happens after waiting a few days because I haven't installed anything new, I don't have any viruses either. This is getting frustrating.

I don't know why it would do that, but you can always r-click on whatever you are trying to open a second instance of in a second window by r-clicking on it in your current instance of file explorer.

That actually works but it will bother the hell out of me If I can't figure this out. I deleted all the windows updates and everything.

Now I noticed anything else that can open a second instance on task bar won't work either. I even sat through a night with a tech, level two Microsoft. It's either Geforce driver but I have a feeling it's a windows update and the thing that's interfering you can't delete or get to. What you said DOES work, just not the way I liek to do it. Which is right click, then click program name.
