can't open nvidia control panel

I build a new PC yesterday, at first it did open the control panel, but when i started downloading stuff it didn't open anymore and said "you are currently not using a display attached to an nvidia gpu". I've tried a lot of stuff and it still says the message (updated bios, updated drivers, removed drivers and downloaded again"
Because of this i also can't play games for some reason because the games don't use my GPU but instead use integrated graphics

Could anybody help me with this??
SPECS: i5-8400
MOBO: ASUS TUF H370 Pro-Gaming
RAM: 2x8 DDR4-2666Mhz
GPU: Asus geforce gtx 1060 dual O6G

Try downloading geforce experience and load up drivers from there
