Can't open the router page

I am not able to open my router's page at 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or any of those addresses. I have used the ipconfig command on cmd and found the default gateway at 192.168.1.1

I have tries restarting the router but no luck. I want to add a device to the mac filter of the wifi and am unable to do so...

P.S. The page just keeps loading without anything

I have seen a few routers that for some reason their coding does not like IE and some that don't like anything but IE.
There are select few routers that are 192.168.1.254 instead.
Netgear routers also have this url instead of the IP address that you have to use.

What router do you have?

Check using ipconfig on a different computer to make sure 192.168.1.1 is correct for default gateway.

Did you try using different browsers?
