Can't output to 1 x 4k (32inch) monitor + 2 x standard (24inch) monitors?

  • I have 1 Dell 3216 4k (32 inch) and 2 Dell 2412 (24 inch) monitors.
  • I have the EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 2GB graphics card.

I can't for the life of me get the 2nd 2412 monitor to come to life. My PC only detects the 4k and the other 2412 monitor. The 4k monitor is connected to the displayport and the 2412 that works is connected to the DVI port. The 2412 that is connected to the HDMI port will not detect.

I do not need to run games across all 3 screens, I just want to be able to use all 3 screens for productivity reasons.

Any ideas what is going on or what I need to do to get this working?

p.s. I have an old MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III graphics card. Will it help if I add this to the mix to run the 3rd monitor if my current one can't output to 3 monitors?

p.s. My motherboard is Asrock P67 extreme4 gen3 if that helps

Fiddled around in the BIOS too, but no luck
