can't oveclock on windows 10

I had my fx 6300 overclocked to 4.5ghz on windows 7 and it ran fine. when I updated to 10 it stll ran fine on windows 10 with overclock. Today i was messing around in bios and reset everything on mistake. now when i try to overclock it will not boot into windows 10 with the overclock. if i return clock speed back to stock it boots fine. what can be done? I've seen some topics related to this but no specific fix

yeah basically. I just never had issue booting into windows 7 when overclocking. Even if voltage wasn't high enough for heavy load at that clock speed it would at least boot into windows . On windows 10 it would not boot up right till I gave it a good bit more voltage over stock. Back to my 4.5ghz now though but seems to take a little more voltage than the way i originally had it setup. before under full load it would hit 1.38 volts but now more like 1.39 - 1.4 volts.
