[SOLVED] Can't overclock i7-2600k with ASUS P8Z68-V Pro Gen3

So I have this issue with my motherboard where I cant see the Turbo Ratio for the CPU, aka I cant change the Turbo Ratio. And yes the turbo is enabled. I can however see the CPU ratio, when I type the desired value the ratio it is instantly back to the stock ratio (34) and Turbo gets disabled. Its like the motherboard thinks that the cpu in not unlocked. Ive read that people had this issue themselfes and that the problem was that the ME was corrupted. The only information I could find for fixing the corrupted ME is a post from back in 2012 by a russian guy. Now I tried to do this but the instructions are not clear to me so I couldnt manage to do it. And yes, I have tried to update my BIOS and it didnt work.

Im out of options and this is my last resort.

Upgrading my motherboard, cpu and ram is not an option, due to it costing too much.

Some guy I know had a new ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe laying around and he gave it to me. I switched the motherboard to the new one and now everything seems to work as intended.

i also have a asus p8z68 v pro gen3 and i dont have a turbo ratio in my bios i have tried using a bootable usb reflasher which didnt brick my board but now my ME is showing N/A even after using built in updater to update to a newer bios still the same i cant get it too work since the EZ flash doesnt touch the intel management engine blocks of the bios i have an i5 3470 which i used to be able to go 4.0ghz boost on my old p8p67 pro mobo but this board refuses to show the multiplier
