Can't overclock i7 6700k past 1.359 volts?

Hello,

I can adjust my core voltage to anything but above 1.359 volts. Why is that? Did I need to change a setting somewhere in the bios, if so where? Or is this just a countermeasure so that I do not burn out my cpu?

This should be addressed in your manual.... however, adjustment above a certain point might be limited in lower end boards
