Cant overclock ram on Ryzen

recently bought an R5 1600 with an Asus strix rog b350, and 1x8gb of 2666 corsair LPX (will buy another 8gb stick soon), the ram currently runs at 2133, when i try to set it to 2400 or 2666 with and without DOCP enabled, the system turn on and off a few times and then states that the overclock has failed, any suggestions?

EDIT: i also updated to the latest Bios version 0805

Make sure you update the bios to the newest version first.

Managed to fix it by enabling DOCP 2667, save and boot into windows (ram is still running at 2133) and then go back into the bios and set the ram to 2666.
When selecting DOCP 2667 and setting the ram to 2666 the system will refuse to boot
