I'm currently building a a new system and cannot get it to POST. I am using an Asus TUF B550m + Wi-Fi board and upon boot the DRAM QLED is on the whole time and nothing will display.
I know that the RAM is functional because I've been using it in another motherboard and it works perfectly.
So as I've read online this isn't too uncommon and a BIOS Flashback is a possible solution to my problem. I believe I have formatted the USB drive exactly as instructed with only the .cap file on it, when I hold down the Flashback button, the green LED does not continue flashing for longer than about 3 seconds. It goes back to solid colour.
Because of this I am under the assumption that it is not updating the BIOS because the system still continues not to POST and with the same DRAM problem.
One issue with me testing the motherboard is I do not have a basic heatsink to test bench it, I have watercooling blocks and hardline tubing installed and basically need everything plugged in, inside the case to run the loop.
I am open to ANY ideas as to how to fix this, off the motherboard could be faulty but I do not have another AMD CPU to test it.
Full list of components (that matter I think):
Asus TUF Gaming B550m WiFi
AMD Ryzen 5600x OEM
G Skill Z RGB 4x8GB 3600mhz
Asus Strix 2080 super
