I'm having six PCs connected by switch. I reinstalled systems, only thing that changed is that pc with shared network connection has Windows 7 now.

With old setup:
Server:
IP:192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:192.168.0.1
DNS Server:192.168.0.1
and Client:
IP:192.168.0.x
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:192.168.0.1
DNS Server:192.168.0.1
Internet sharing worked perfectly.

Now the problem is, Windows 7 doesn't set default 192.168.0.1 for server,
it sets 192.168.137.1. If I change 0 by 137, weird thing happen'.
I can ping clients, but no reply comes from server.
I can't share internet like this.
While with 0 everything in lan works fine, with 137 server simply doesn't reply.

Change the IP address of the server.

Or disable the Server's Firewall. You can also allow a ping response. Depending on how the firewall is configured, it may intentially not response to pings.
