Hi! I'm new to these forums, and I have always went here to get solutions to my software problems.
But now I have a new problem.
I just recently updated my AMD graphics driver from E2 Vision.... something (I'm reading this from the sticker of my netbook) to the new AMD Catalyst 15.7 Driver. Now my HD 1080p videos are not working. I have two downloaded media players in my computer (K-Lite Codec Pack w/ Media Player Classic and VLC Media Player). When I play an MP4 video on Media Player Classic no video comes out, only audio. When I play the same format on VLC, it gets all buffery and weirdly pixelated. For MKV videos on Media Player Classic it no longer responds and needed to close. For VLC the file format has the same effect as MP4. The K-Lite Codec Pack worked before I updated my driver by the way.
Later on I tried updating my Media Player Classic into the new one, but the problem persists for both file formats. Then I tried to uninstall both the new version of Media Player Classic and the K-Lite Coded Pack and then reinstalled a "Mega" K-Lite Codec Pack. The result for the MP4 files is that there's now video, but the video is in slow motion and lagging (even though the decrease speed button was not pressed) and not in sync with the audio. It still doesn't work.
What am I supposed to do? I've read in several forums while I was searching an answer to this is to uninstall the K-lite pack because too much codecs would cause confusion.
Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Basic
Processor: AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.65 GHz
System Type: 64-bit OS
Display Drive: AMD Radeon HD 6320 Graphics
UPDATE 1:
I've tried the solution in this thread:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/293943-33-play-videos-efficiently
It's smoother now, but it still is out of sync. However I want it to be as smooth as before.
UPDATE 2:
I've uninstalled all the codecs and downloaded media players in my computer EXCEPT my Windows 7 Codec Pack and what seems to be a Media Player Classic Software that came with the Real Alternative software. The MP4 files seem to work faster but there's suddenly frequent pixelated inter-meshing.
Please give me your solutions. If you guys are asking for any more specs that I didn't list so you can find a solution please do so. Thanks!
