Cant play some games after some time?

I am experiencing an issue that when i want to play some games like need for speed most wanted 2012 or dirt 3, they simply dont work. I mean like after a fresh install i am able to play them but after 1 to 2 days they dont work and shows up different errors like need for speed is showing "runtime error R6002" and the dirt 3 is showing " A required security module cannot be activated 13000" Just cause 2 also shows up these kinds of errors but i cant figure out the problem..

Have you done a clean Windows install? Or run CCleaner to clean up registry errors and software conflicts? Or uninstalled/re-installed the gfx driver?

I have not done a clean install of windows but tried the others, also one more thing that these games are installed on a external hard drive along with other games but the problem is only in these

Once the map is loaded into memory, it shouldn't make a huge difference in playing... unless the game engine reads continually from the external drive. Is it a USB drive?
Why not take one of the troublesome games, uninstall it from the external drive, and re-install it on the HDD. See if the problem is still there.
