Hi! My name is Luciano and as you can say from my nickname, I am from Trelew, Chubut, Argentina. I recently joined this community because I have been seeing some posts from this website and I found them really helpful.
But enough talking about me, let's get to the point.
Recently, I changed my router from a Linksys WRT54G to a Cisco Linksys EA2700 Dual-Band N600. My problem now is when I try to log in to Tunngle, I cannot, and it displays a message that says:
"...Connection error. Could not establish a UDP connection with the server. Your firewall could be the cause..."
I have already fixed antivirus and Windows firewall issues, but the problem keep going.
As the firewall is not the problem, the router must be.
When I try to Port-Forward my router with the port that Tunngle uses (11155), I still cannot log in.
I have already tried with UPnP (on and off), disabling the NAT, and so on...
One of my hypothesis is that, as I have an dynamic IP, the Port-Forwarding cannot get done.
What would you guys recommend me to do?
Assign an Static IP? If so, to the router, or to the Modem (my Modem is a Huaweii MT880a, in case you need that info)?
EDIT: My PC is running Windows 8.1
Wi-Fi Adapter: D-Link Wireless G DWA-510 Desktop
Connection Type: ADSL
I will wait for your answers.
Best regards.
Luciano.
