I added a SSD to my Dell Optiplex 980. I utilized the existing SATA cables from the motherboard and the PSU. Now, I'd like to utilize the ODD, but have no additional PSU cables. Being a former Army mechanic, I figured I could just add a t-splice to one of the existing cables to power the ODD, and use one of the remaining SATA data connectors on the motherboard. Also, I have some connectors on the motherboard I can't identify: Serial2 is a 14-pin. INT USB is a 9-pin. There are also 4 slots (similar to RAM slots) at the bottom of the board labeled Slot1, Slot 2, Slot 3 and Slot 4. What cables should I buy (if I can't t-splice), and what are the 1-4 slots for? Thanks in advance y'all.

labeled Slot1, Slot 2, Slot 3 and Slot 4
Slot 1=pcie 2.0X16 for your GPU.
Slot 2 and slot 3 = pci slot for add-on card, like sound card, wireless card.
Slot 4= pciex4 for 2nd GPU.
If you have only one GPU, install the GPU into the slot 1.
What cables should I buy
one SATA to Molex cable, if you can't find the splitter cable.
