Can't raise CPU multiplier

Hi all,

I am hoping this is something simple, maybe I am just not aware of some setting to change. I have an Asus Rampage IV Black Edition and an i7-4930k, and I am trying to do a simple overclock on the core. I used the water-clocking profile in the BIOS, and changed the core ratio limit to 43 (instead of the 49 set by the profile) across all cores. However, even though I can see that the max multiplier in CPU-Z is 43 [it shows x34.0 (12 - 43) ], it's impossible for me to get it to go above 34 regardless of the load applied. Things I have tried to resolve this issue:

Increased VTT CPU Voltage
Increased VCCSA CPU Voltage
Increased CPU PLL Voltage
Increased CPU Load-Line Calibration
Increased CPU Power Phase Control
Increased CPU Current Capacity
Increased CPU Vcore Voltage
Checked Intel Turbo was enabled
...

Along with many other things, I can't seem to get the multiplier to increase (even while using Prime95, etc.). Is there anything else I should try to do or something I might have missed? Thanks in advance for any advice,

Well no, I mean I know I can do that, but the CPU multiplier should be going all the way up to 43, to produce 43*100 = 4300 MHz as the top frequency. I've seen other screenshots of CPU-Z so I know it's possible for the multiplier to move up beyond the stock 34x mine has, but I can't seem to find a way to do so.

in your bios there are a host of safety features that you will need to disable in order to keep the overclock at 100%.. by its nature your bios and the features within it will throttle back the cpu. My mobo has about 7 things i need to disable. im unsure of your motherboard but google is your best friend. Google search "Disable cpu safety features for stable overclock on rampage IV black edition"
