We recently just got a new modem with an inbuilt router, hence disconnecting the router we had before. Then we started having trouble with the Zyxel access point. It sends out wifi, but it's not quite good as it was before, and we can't reach the admin page.

What I've tried:
Rebooting and fabric restart
Connecting it with Ethernet to a computer, typing in the default ip's, getting nothing, only a message saying "Page can't be reached".

The lights are green and the cables are to an extent new, but i have not tried a different cable. It worked excellent before. Another thing to add is that when I connect the Ethernet to my pc, the network is seen as unidentifiable.
I've also read on the net that the Zyxel does not support new-tech routers, but i'm not sure about this.

Solution
Lets say the OLD router had the DHCP set to 192.168.0.xxx and you configured the APs to have a 192.168.0.250 IP address. Your new router has 192.168.1.xxx. The second number is the subnet, the last number is the host. IF this were the case, your PC would get a 192.168.1.yyy address and you wouldn't be able to communicate with the AP.

If you have still have the old router, pull it out and connect directly to it. You should be able to get the admin page on the old router and compare configurations.

Could you explain in detail a bit more, i'm not that good with the keywords. I noticed that on my Router's page, the DCHP is 192.168.1.10 and upwards, does this say anything?
