Can't restart after removing an I Drive SSD

I reformatted and removed my I drive SSD from my WIN8.1 PC but left my C drive in place and now it won't boot up.

couple of questions.which drive is your os on?and if the os is on your c drive have you gone into bios and changed the boot order to boot from this drive?

My boot drive has always been my C Drive and I haven't entered my bios. When I installed the Samsung SSD it assigned it as the I drive.
