Hi everyone, my laptop's (Lenovo Z470) internal hdd just recently broke down, so I decided to buy a new one and replace it. Naturally, I also had to install a new OS, so I changed the boot priority order to CD-ROM first. Thing is, after replacing my hdd, my keyboard suddenly experienced issues and I can't press some keys (K,L,-,+, etc.) so I can't use them in navigating through BIOS. For some reason, I had difficulty in changing the boot priority list so I excluded my HDD in order to put the cd-rom in top priority. After that, I proceeded with installing the new OS. After that, I did a reboot in order to restore the boot priority list to default, and include my HDD again in the priority list, but it won't work anymore. I keep pressing F9 to restore default, but my laptop only produces a beep sound everytime I press it. I also can't scroll up/down in the BIOS so I can't select restore defaults. I'm pretty desperate and I have no idea what to do from this point on, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
UPDATE: I solved the BIOS issue using an external keyboard. Now the only problem I have is that some certain keys on my laptop keyboard doesn't work, particularly the right side (I,O,P,K,L,M, etc.). Also, the shift key apparently seems to be stuck, because whenever I click something on my desktop, it selects multiple icons. I'm not sure if it is a driver or a defective keyboard issue, because my keyboard was working perfectly fine before my laptop broke down and had its HDD replaced. Already tried uninstalling the keyboard and updating the driver, but nothing seems to happen.
