Question Can't run 64-bit software after Windows reinstall ?

Dell Optiplex 360 -- reloaded I reinstalled xp professional - all drivers (i think) are installed. Now 64-bit software gets message --- "cannot run on 32 bit system". All 64 bit files are there. How do I reset the system to run my old software ?

Are you sure you installed 64-bit Windows ?
Have you checked what it says in Control Panel >> System ?

It's showing 32 bit drivers. But pre-reinstall, all my apps worked. Is there additional drivers I should be installing?

There are different installations for Windows xp 32bit and Windows xp 64bit.
You're most likely have installed 32bit version of windows. That's why, you can't run 64bit software.

If so, then you have to reinstall windows from 64bit windows installation media.
