can't run my memory above 2133 mhz because it causes micro stuttering

Hello i have this build:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 no OC
GPU: GTX 1080 Palit Super JetStream
MB: B350 PC MATE od MSI
RAM: ADATA XPG Z1 DDR4, 2x8GB, 3000Mhz, CL16 (AX4U300038G16-DGZ)
HDD: Toshiba P300
SSD: ADATA SU800
PSU: SPC Supremo M1 550 W.
OS: Windows 10 Home 64 bit

the problem is when i set ram to 2933 mhz it causes a lot ot stuttering (in bf1 it's almost always when i scope) so when i set them to 2133 mhz the problem is gone. Is this Motherboard too weak for this build?

Hi, so if you check the AMD's official website for the R5 1600 it is stated that it only supports RAM speeds up to 2667 MHz (link:http://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-5-1600). From my own experience (R5 1600x@3.9GHz, Crucial Ballistic 4x4GB, Asrock AB 350M Pro4) I can tell you that I cannot even boot at anything higher than 2667MHz at 16-16-16-36 timings, even at higher voltages, so I think it is a cpu-bound restriction. A BIOS-update for your motherboard might introduce some improvement in stability, but in general Ryzen on a B350M IMHO should not be pushed all too hard.

Yes, it states that it's limited to 2667, which is why past that point it's considered OC. Even the Ryzen 7 1800X only supports 2667 according to AMD. Of course, it supports as high as RAM you have as long as your motherboard can handle it.

Bios updates on all Ryzen boards appear to have fixed a lot of Ryzen's RAM issues.

I'm pretty sure that board is high enough quality to handle it. Maybe you got a faulty motherboard that doesn't work well with higher speed RAM. You might also want to check if there's any bent pins on your CPU, since I know bent pins can cause a whole wide variety of issues.

The most likely thing for me is that your motherboard is defective and needs replaced. Your best option here is to talk to MSI to see if they have any sort of fixes to that kind of issue (I don't have an MSI board and don't have experience with them, maybe someone else has a sleeper fix but MSI will know what to do).

you have the latest uefi bios on it also use cpu-z spd tab and check for the fastest speed you ram could go after go in uefi and activate the gaming button and axmp on then see what happens .

check under advance tab in uefi and tell use your ram spedd on the overlock tab and axmp should be lit to be active and accept change when getting out of uefi .

I know how to make XMP but then I got stuttering because it sets ram to 2933 mhz and it looks like it's just too much for RAM or for motherboard. i will test once again on 2400 mhz and 2667 mhz in next few days.

bad luck you could have ram with hynix module did you try to memtest each stick of ram in case of error .

No, I will try tomorrow or in next few days Do you know why I have low fps in NFS 2015? My GPU usage doesn't go more than 70% in this game.

could be gpu or lan restrition for the game this you test any other game to see if they are in specs .

if you gone clean ram contact use a white eraser for scholl and gently brush the contact on ram this will take any oxidation or grease from them .
