Hello,

I am facing issue with my ram; whenever i set my ram speed to anywhere close to 2400 or higher, or turn on my XMP profile, my pc wont start and it will go in loop of restarting until the ram memory is set to default automatically {2133mhz}.

here are my specs:

CPU - R7 2700x with h100i v2 running on stock
RAM - gskil trident z rgb 4 x 8gb 3000mhz kit
storage - 2 tb WD hard drive and 512gb NVME
PSU- Corsair cx550m
GPU- gtx 1070 msi

Can anyone help me with this problem

Your specific motherboard wasn't specified.
Make sure your BIOS is updated to the latest Pinnacle Ridge compatible one.

Checking the motherboard manufacturer's QVL for your exact memory model may be helpful.
If not on the QVL, it either wasn't tested, or failed testing.

4 DIMMS is harder on the memory controller that 2 DIMMS. Try testing with only 2 DIMMS

Some kits may not run with 4 DIMMS at high speeds. Checking your QVL, you will see (from some manufacturer's) that their QVL state 2 DIMMS. Again, it may have not been checked in 4x configuration, or it failed in a 4x configuration.

I am assuming you bought the memory as a single 4x 8Gb kit.
Writing to G-Skill support with your exact memory model and config , CPU info, and your motherboard specs may be helpful. They may have information on specific MANUAL settings required to get the kit stable at the higher rated speeds.
