Can't save anything to my HDD

I bought my first SSD and installed windows 8.1 from my windows disc to it. Now I have no access to my HDD even when I am the administrator of my computer. I can't save anything to my HDD any help? I am getting an error that says "Get rights from the administrator" and the SSD is my C drive don't know why.

Right-click on the folders you want access to, go to permissions and select take ownership.
