i've bought a WD HDD and it wont screw into my case, here's a picture of my case:

you can see my optic drive at the top, then my HDD screwed in, but its not sat on a shelf, the screws screwed into the side are holding it in place, for some reason the holes for the screws on my HDD wont match the holes in my case (the holes where the HDD is suppose to sit on like a shelf bit)
any ideas anyone please?

ok, see the 9 hole grill looking thing at the bottom of the drive rack. The HDD mounts in one of the two spaces just above that. The HDD holes will line up with the two 1/2" long slots that are just below and forward of the 'dimples'.

I think you are trying to mount the hdd's in the place where the 3.5" floppy drives are supposed to go.

yeah thats what i mean, if i put it in a 3.5 inch bay, it sits on the shelf but the case holes dont match up with the HDD screw holes 🙁
